Earlier this week, I sent out an e-mail for a semi-feral kitty named
Roberta that needed her eye removed as it was bulging and those are the painful kind. She had her surgery today and came thru just fine ... hopefully her recovery will be quick and she'll get used to not having to deal with pain 24 hours a day anymore.
Here's her picture the SPCA folks took this morning before she went into surgery ... it's not yucky for those that have queezy stomaches ;)
If you can help pay for her surgery, anything you can send will be appreciated and it's tax deductible. You can send it to Space Coast Feline Network, P.O. Box 624, Cocoa, FL 32923 and be sure to note that it's for Roberta. Her bill (including pain and antibiotic injections) was $290 ... much less than most vets would have charged (probably would have been $1,500 to $2,000 at a regular vet's office) ... so thank you Dr. Curry !!!!! for keeping our costs down.
As always, anything we collect for Roberta in excess of her bill, will be put in an account to help other sick/injured ferals.
