Welcome to the Space Coast Feline Network!
Space Coast Feline Network (SCFN) is dedicated to humanely caring for and controlling the feral cat population in Brevard County.
It is our mission to promote and practice TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and feral cat colony management in Brevard County, as an alternative method of feral cat population control. Attendant to this mission, tame cats or young kittens are removed from colonies and placed in foster care with a volunteer until they can be adopted.
As an extension of this fostering, and as volunteer foster homes are available, cats and kittens are sometimes accepted from persons wanting to give them up for adoption, and from shelters as part of rescue programs where the cats might otherwise be euthanized. These cats are fostered and put up for adoption.
SCFN endeavours to educate the public about the problems associated with abandoned animals, the need for early spay/neuter of pets and the benefits of a No More Homeless Pets program, all of which will help reduce the feral cat population.
